Keeping The Anime Addiction

I haven’t wrote for a while. I’ve completely dropped all the anime I’ve been watching this season. The only ones I’m keeping up with is 07-Ghost, Asura Cryin’, and maybe will catch up with Eden of the East. Anime has really been losing it’s uniqueness that I felt during the first times of experiencing it. Now it feels all dried out and spoiled. Maybe instead of catching up with the recent series, I should watch the oldies. The old series that really brang something beautiful. I have no idea on which one to start first. Lets ask my readers if there are any. What old anime series did you throughly enjoy? No cutesy stuff or just random as heck. Something with an interesting plot that does not die, but keeps going until you finally drool at the end of the last episode. Something that will entertain me and keep my anime addiction alive.

D.Gray-Man Chapter 184

Allen slowly turning into Noah. It is a mystery if he is dangerous to his friends & the Order. I don’t like that the aggression is slow. It makes sense though. Allen is near his friends and those are the people he wants to protect the most.

Finally we find out what Medusa was up to. She wanted the body of her sister. WTH CHRONA??

What I really pay attention to is Soul. I don’t know, but the recent chapters I feel he has change. Maka has been agonizing over Chrona and not caring about Soul. They don’t have the same connection anymore.

Bakuman Chapter 33

Bakuman isn’t like other mangas. It has more of a unique edge. It explores the process of manga serialization and the industry too. It might not sound like something that’s fun to read, but the intense and dedication of our two mangakas Takagi and Mashiro makes the manga likeable. The side characters a.k.a. the other magakas also play an important role. For example, Eiji and his crazy ability to create manga quickly. At the end of this chapter, we are left with a cliffhanger of whether or not the staff has either decided to serialized “Detective Trap” (Takagi and Mashiro’s manga) or not. Got to wait until the next chapter to find out the decision they made. I do hope they do decide to serialize it.

What happen to the Colorfusical dude? I thought he would have been a potential threat to them. He was tossed away when his manga didn’t do so well in the Golden Future Cup. I still don’t understand why Eiji wanted the right to stop a manga from being published.

First Impression: Eden Of The East

Looking through other blogs, the beginning of the episode shocked me. We have Akira who is fully naked rampaging around the street near the white house while Saki is sightseeing at the place. The white blob covering up Akira’s privates. LOL. That was the most weirdest censoring. I like how the story is going so far. The main characters, Saki who is a girl looking for her prince and Akira who is a guy that has no memories of himself, but there is hints that he was a killer of some sort (his collection of guns and IDs). It’s interesting to see how two people with different lives just come together so easily. It’s scary, but a good concept to play with especially for Eden Of The East. The opening and ending are very eye fulfilling. They’re really beautiful. I think they’re the best of this spring season.
